Local Residential Moving

Full-service home moves across Silver Spring and the surrounding Maryland suburbs. The crew wraps your furniture, loads it tight, and sets everything back where you want it in the new place. Silver Spring apartments, townhomes, and single-family houses all get the same careful handling.

We move entire households across Silver Spring and the DC metro, wrapping and disassembling your furniture, loading it, and reassembling it in your new rooms.

How long does a local house move take?

Most local moves in Silver Spring finish in a single day. A one-bedroom apartment is usually a half day. A three-bedroom house with stairs at both ends typically runs most of a working day. The variables that stretch it are stair count, elevator windows, and how much is packed and ready when the crew arrives. We give you an expected window when we quote.

Do I need to pack before the movers arrive?

Boxes should be sealed and labeled before move day if you are packing yourself. We handle all furniture wrapping and disassembly, so leave beds, tables, and shelving assembled for us. If the kitchen or closets are not going to be ready in time, tell us at booking and we can add packing service the day before or the same morning.

What can movers not take on the truck?

Standard exclusions across the moving industry are flammables and hazardous materials: propane tanks, gasoline, paint thinner, aerosols, and similar. Perishable food and live plants are also better moved in your own car. If you have something unusual like a safe, piano, gun cabinet, or aquarium, mention it when you call so we can plan the crew and equipment for it.
