Excellent service. José was great at communicating with us, getting us a quote, and scheduling the move. On the day of, the team came (3 people) and worked efficiently, taking very good care of our things, packing them carefully, and then they mounted everything in the new place. Definitely would hire them again and recommend them to our friends.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Cost depends on how much you are moving, how many stairs or elevators are involved, and the distance between addresses. We give you a quote before booking so there is no guessing on move day. Call (240) 603-8099 with your room count and both addresses and we will walk you through it.
Yes. Tell us the size of the home, what floor you are on at both ends, and any large or awkward items like a piano, safe, or treadmill. We will put together a quote and a schedule. Customers regularly mention how easy the quoting and scheduling conversation is.
Crew size is matched to the job, and it is usually three or more people. One customer noted we brought five movers instead of the three quoted at no extra cost when the job needed it. We confirm the crew and arrival window before your move date.
We move families and businesses in Silver Spring, Bethesda, Rockville, Wheaton, Takoma Park, Gaithersburg, College Park, Hyattsville, and Washington DC. If your pickup or drop-off is just outside that list, call us anyway and we will let you know if it works.
Every piece gets blanket-wrapped and shrink-wrapped before it goes on the truck. Reviewers mention repeatedly that their belongings, including fragile items, arrived without damage. We also protect floors and doorways at both addresses so nothing gets scuffed on the way through.
Yes. We pack whole homes or just the rooms you would rather not deal with, like kitchens and china cabinets. Packing can happen the day before or the same morning as the load. We can also unpack and set things up at the new place and haul away the empty boxes.
The end of the month and weekends fill up first, so reach out as early as you can. Shorter-notice moves are often possible depending on the day. Call (240) 603-8099 and we will tell you honestly what dates are open.
Yes. Beds, dining tables, sectionals, and shelving get taken apart before the carry and put back together in the new place. Customers have mentioned the crew mounting and setting everything up in the new home rather than leaving it stacked in the middle of a room.
We are open all seven days. Hours run roughly 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM depending on the day, with Wednesday closing earlier at 5:00 PM. Weekend moves are normal for us. Call to lock in a start time that fits your building's elevator reservation.
Yes, and it is work we do often. We pack the old home, move and unpack at the assisted living apartment, set up the furniture, and come back to clear out whatever is left behind when the house goes on the market. The pace is set by the family, not the clock.
Ask when you book and we will confirm what we can take for your job. Payment is settled once the move is complete and you have looked everything over. If you need a written quote for a building or a family member, we can get that to you ahead of the move date.
Yes. Labor-only loading and unloading is one of our regular services. We load rental trucks and portable containers so the weight is balanced and nothing shifts in transit, or we unload and carry everything to the right rooms when your container arrives.

Serving Wheaton
Wheaton is one of the more housing-diverse pockets in Montgomery County. Along Georgia Avenue and near the Metro you get older garden apartments and newer mid-rise buildings, many without a dedicated loading dock, which means street staging and a longer carry. Head into the residential streets toward Kensington and Glenmont and the stock is largely 1950s brick capes and split levels with steep, narrow staircases and finished basements packed with storage. Wheaton also has a high share of multi-generational households, so the volume in a three-bedroom house here is often closer to what you would expect from a much larger home. Street parking near the commercial strip fills early, so an early start matters.

Why Wheaton customers need this work
Wheaton work is heavy on two things: full household moves out of older homes with a lot of accumulated storage, and apartment moves where there is no dock and the truck parks on the street. Both are crew-size problems. A narrow 1950s stairwell means beds, sectionals, and dining tables come apart before they come down, and that is standard on most of our Wheaton jobs. We also see a lot of single-item furniture delivery here, since people buy from stores along the Georgia Avenue corridor and Wheaton Plaza and have no way to get a mattress or sofa home and up the stairs.

Why Choose Three Guys Moving for Moving company in Wheaton
Wheaton, MD is a few minutes from our Silver Spring base, and we move there constantly. The neighborhoods run from the apartment blocks near Wheaton Plaza to the postwar brick houses off Georgia Avenue and up toward Glenmont. Those older homes have narrow stairwells and small landings, so disassembly matters more than muscle. We wrap, carry, and reassemble everything in the new rooms. Call (240) 603-8099 for a Wheaton quote.
Wheaton customers choose us because we treat every project like it's our own — no upselling, no surprises, just straightforward work that gets the job done right.
Whether you live in Wheaton or just need a reliable team nearby, we're a short drive from Silver Spring and happy to walk you through every recommendation before any work begins.
Wheaton is close enough to our Silver Spring base that we can start early and stage the truck before street parking disappears near the Georgia Avenue strip. We know the older housing stock here well, so when we quote a Wheaton job we already assume the stairwell is narrow and the basement holds more than the walkthrough suggested. That is why our estimates hold up instead of doubling on move day. Reviewers repeatedly mention the crew arriving on time and the furniture arriving undamaged, fragile items included, which is what you want when everything has to be tipped down a tight stair run. Call (240) 603-8099.
